5 Year old paint cross currently measuring at just under 15.3hh
Faith was started western last year in an excellent program but transitioned to English in the fall, has a solid 5 months under saddle. She is lightly started over jumps, lateral movements started and progressing well, very comfy to ride. Canter can get a bit strong but her balance is improving with each ride, walk and trot is solid.
She has a great brain and would be a fantastic all-arounder. Will happily go out on trails with others or alone, has been ridden in an open field in the snow, and would much rather play with a tarp/plastic bag than spook at it.
Her one quirk is her tongue, we’ve tried different bits and bridles but she is a bit of a lizard, it does quiet down quite a bit when bitless.
Trailers great, can get a bit impatient in crossties but ground ties well, great for farrier, clipping is a work in progress but she has no issues being blow-dried, easy to catch and will usually greet you at the gate.
